The purpose of a complete facility management is to provide the customer with a comprehensive package of selected services which are guaranteed by the supplier as well as with management and coordination of individual service suppliers. The customer deals only with one person and that is the project manager. This makes the management easier and simpler and saves time of the relevant management employees.
The task of the supplier is also to optimize costs and search constantly for possible savings. The customer may decide whether to select complete or partial service - which the supplier will provide, or if he gives the project integrator full authority to
decide. The price structure of the regular services is either fi xed plus price for extra one-time services or as prices for individually delivered services approved by the customer, plus the applicable fee for the project integrator/manager. The delivery/order usually
includes an agreement describing the search for savings by optimizing purchasing processes, looking for cheaper services or sharing the cost among several projects. The supplier is motivated as he works on commission basis, which are regularly evaluated.
